This project was one of my favorites to work on. In collaboration with the Simcoe District School Board and Indigenous Cultural Advisors, I created a series of ten short comics featuring prominent Indigenous figures.

Using interviews and videos with each "Hero," I wrote scripts that captured their stories and transformed them into comics. These stories celebrate the achievements of local Indigenous heroes and are designed to inspire students in the classroom.
